We’re an Aussie family; Adam and Megan Kelly and our two daughters, Willow (12) and Harper (9), living our passion for touring and exploring Australia. Our experiences and insights have led to us collaborating with industry innovators who value our knowledge and ideas.
Although we're not a full-time traveling family, we call the New South Wales Mid North Coast home and love planning weekend adventures and bigger trips. When we're not traveling, Adam, along with mate James, build and restore touring vehicles at STS Garage, including the recently completed 60 Series Landcruiser that earned an award for it’s standout and unique build.
Over the years, we've explored the entire Australian mainland, from Arnhem Land and Cape York to the Gibb River Road, chasing our love for off-grid experiences.

Adam’s background is in carpentry, but he’s always had a natural talent for mechanics and a keen mind for innovation. His ability to problem-solve and think outside the box has played a huge role in what we do.
Megan’s career in the marketing world, brings a creative touch to everything we do, with her self-taught passion for photography and videography shining through in our content. Together, we combine our unique skills to create engaging, however realistic content.

A Smart Move
In 2017, we founded Smart Touring Systems; an accessory brand that Adam brought to life with just an idea and pure determination. Our Quick Fit Bracket system was a game-changer, allowing users to easily add and remove a vehicle pull-out awning in seconds - no tools required.
The Quick Fit Bracket's success, highlighted in 4x4 Australia magazine (see the video feature here) just months after its launch, quickly expanded to include a variety of awning mounts. Now, it has evolved to include the Solar Clip, allowing you to easily add and remove solar panels. Today, we proudly sell our products to touring enthusiasts all over the world.
In 2023, Adam hung up his chippy tool belt and Megan left her workplace to follow our dreams of growing our own brand.
We now host two YouTube channels, have an ambassadorship with Conqueror Off Road and GWorks trays and canopies plus work and receive support from other companies who share our vision including All Four x 4 Spares, The Wheel Deal, Bisley Workwear and Carbon Off Road.

A Love Of Travel
Our travel channel, Smart Touring Systems, features an authentic and realistic look into touring Australia, with a cinematic shots and engaging edits.
STS Garage
STS Garage came about after finishing our 2022 Lap around Australia and by chance meeting a farmer who had an old Landcruiser sitting in a paddock. After returning home, Adam back-tracked 10 hours to buy the old rust bucket with a vision to restore it in his own way. Documenting the process, STS Garage was born. Adams good mate and ex-panel beater (handy), James shares a love for tinkering and joins Adam in the ups and downs of refurbishing classic four wheel drives in an everyday shed with everyday tools.
Now, nearly two years after launching the channel, it’s rapidly growing with followers enjoying the builds, being inspired to tackle DIY modifications and the opportunities that come with it continue to inspire us every day. STS Garage offers a variety of videos for touring car enthusiasts, embracing the motto measure once, cut twice!

The Builds
Lance: HJ47 Toyota Landcruiser
The love of Adam's life, closely followed by his family is Lance. The 1981 HJ47 Toyota Landcruiser, plucked out of a paddock near Cobar (Central NSW), appropriately named Lance after Lance (pictured below), the previous owner. Some of the mods; custom-made front bar, snorkel, guards, side steps and exhaust, train horn, timber overhead console. We take Lance on many off road adventures and Adam uses it as his daily drive.
LAZARUS: 60 Series Landcruiser
Purchased at an online car auction, our second project in STS Garage was meant to be a quick fix-and-flick, however it turned into something so much more. Appropriately named Lazarus, we rose it from the dead. Completely out of our depths, we went down the rabbit hole of tedious body work, removing copious amounts of rust followed by a full respray, then engine converted the petrol motor to a Isuzu D-Max diesel 4JJ1 (the first engine conversion of this kind in the world - that we know of) turning this into a show worthy work of art. Lazarus won "Most Modified" 50/60 Series at the Mr Landcruiser "CLECS" Classic Landcruiser Expo & Show in Caboolture Queensland - the biggest classic Landcruiser show in the world.
