We run a GWorks tray and 1500mm canopy on our current 79 Series Landcruiser, which includes under-tray toolboxes, rear under-tray drawer, headboard water tank, 115L upright fridge, pull-out pantry, central locking doors and even a Big Bertha 12v oven. No shortage of power either, we've added 400AH lithium batteries, 3000 Watt Redarc Inverter, Redarc Alpha 100 Charger and Redvision. An absolute premium product, with quality fixtures and fittings, we LOVE our setup.

Conqueror Off Road
After doing a lap of Australia in 2022 with our 19ft caravan, we realised we wanted to downsize slightly, mainly so we could reach more remote spots. We’d owned a hybrid caravan before and knew we wanted something around that size again - but with an internal ensuite.

The Wheel Deal are the real deal! We have been using their quality range of wheels and tyres over 4 years now, across many different vehicles. They stock quality brands such as (our favs) ROH Wheels, Mickey Thompson tyres which we have used on our builds. Winches & Recovery GearWe use Carbon Off Road winches and recovery gear in our vehciles, including our 79 Series and Lance our HJ47 Landcruiser. While a winch is something we may not use frequently, when we do need it, we need it to work! We've used lower quality winches in the past that seize and have proven to be unreliable when you need them most. Carbon Off Road has developed a solid reputation for reliability, toughness and has been tested in some of the harshest environments in Australia and overseas.

Gull Wing WindowsBasically, if you've got a wagon with sliding or solid rear windows, you need these! We installed the Emuwing Gullwing windows into our 60 Series Landcruiser and it's a game changer. Now we're able to access the beer fridge easier! Comes as a DIY kit, which was easy to follow.

Electric ChainsawOur chainsaw of choice? When we're camping or travelling, without a doubt, it's electric. We use a Milwaukee M18 battery-powered chainsaw during our travels, as it's perfect for cutting smaller limbs rather than large logs. It's compact and easy to store, and has no fuel or oil smell when we open the canopy (where we store it). Plus, it's much quieter, so it doesn't disturb others around us.

Portable FirepitPortable firepits are now essential for camping, offering a safe, contained way to enjoy a campfire while protecting the environment and complying with restrictions. We use the Bennetts Steel 'Easy Burn' flat pack firepit, which is around 8kg in the carry bag. Easy to set up, 2mm steel (so it doesn't warp) and also has a BBQ plate.
