With a carpentry background, Adam's passion was always mechanics. After a trip around Australia in 2022, Adam discovered a rusty old 1985 HJ47 Landcruiser, owner by a bloke named Lance we met at a rural pub. Unable to leave the old HJ to rust away in the paddock, Adam decided to buy the old ute, fittingly naming the old HJ Lance, which became the subject of a full build series.
What started as a personal project quickly grew into something much bigger, and with the help of his mate Jamesy, STS Garage gained rapid momentum with All Four x 4 Spares becoming the first supporter of the channel with the help of providing some parts and accessories needed. The episodes are not only informative, but also entertaining, offering a mix of DIY advice, hands-on restoration and plenty of laughs along the way, embracing the mottos: measure once, cut twice and no gear, no idea - check out the merch here! Our most recently completed project, a 1985 60 Series Landcruiser began as an auction buy and was going to be a quick fix, however quickly evolved into a full-blown restoration including a never-been-done-before 4JJ1 D-Max engine conversion in a 60 series, ultimately becoming a showstopper. Coming back from the dead, we appropriately named the project Lazarus. The build earned them Most Modified 50/60 Series Landcruiser at the 2024 CLECS (Classic Landcruiser Expo & Car Show) in Caboolture, one of the largest and most prestigious events of its kind in the world. With each new project, STS Garage continues to grow its community of passionate DIY enthusiasts and four-wheel drive lovers. |
